About

Hello, my name is Leonard Baron (aka, “Professor Baron”) and I’ve been involved in real estate my entire life.

Professor-Baron-Early-Renovation

Even at the ripe young age of 6 years old, I had a passion for the business, and I’ve been eating, sleeping and living the world of real estate ever since.

At 21, I dropped out of college to buy and renovate my first real estate deal – which didn’t go that well. Luckily, the next summer I dropped back in and finished my Finance and Accounting degrees.

Over the years I’ve been involved in many aspects of the real estate business, from auditing at Deloitte & Touche, to the homebuilding controller at Lennar Homes, to renovating houses, and consulting on commercial real estate projects. All the while, on the side, I’ve purchased, renovated, and rented out properties I’ve bought along the way and continue to own. And my have I learned a lot of tough lessons!

I’m Here to Help You

I’m here because I am passionate about teaching others like you how to do the proper homework to make smart and safer real estate purchasing decisions so you can reduce the chances that something in your deal will go wrong, and cost you lots of money. The more hard work you do to identify the risk issues, then mitigate them, the greater the chance that you will earn wealth from your smart and prudent purchases.

I know what it’s like to just think things will go well when buying a property. It’s pretty stressful when things start to go wrong; dealing with floods, cost overruns, electrical issues, nebby neighbors, vacant units and challenging tenants. I’ve had them all and I’ve felt the pain and had to deal with each issue.

That is why I am here to help you lessen the chances that those issues will occur. I promise you it’s a lot easier, more pain free and hassle free, and more profitable to make the smart decisions before you purchase the property so you can buy good quality, lower hassle properties that you’ll be proud to own.

Learn from My Experience

LeonardNow it wasn’t that long ago in real estate years, 12 years or so, that I still bought properties that were really not very good deals. And I should have known better, but I didn’t. And that was after 10 years of already being a landlord and managing properties.

Some of those deals still hurt – financially – but with every issue that goes wrong, it teaches me to not repeat that blunder. And those lessons I learned have turned me into a much smarter, and much more experienced real estate investor.

Keep in mind though that real estate isn’t always easy, nor is it always fun.

Even the smartest and best of real estate buyers still run into issues all the time. But those of us who work hard to reduce our risk and hassle, generally have much smaller and less painful issues than an investor who just thinks they’ll buy real estate, it will be hassle free, and they’ll get rich with no work. Good luck with that!

I Make Wealth Building Real Estate Decisions

These days, the real estate investing decisions I make add quality, wealth building assets to my real estate retirement portfolio.

I follow a structured methodology and process for acquiring real estate – a process I’ve compiled not only from my own personal “lessons” but from tales, advice and guidance from hundreds of other experienced real estate investors I speak to and work with on a regular basis.

Because I love to teach so much and watch as an individual’s eye’s light up when they clearly understand the material, I’m excited to share my course and teachings with anyone who wants to educate him or herself to make smarter, safer, and lower risk real estate purchasing decisions.

It’s really your financial future at risk, and the results of following a structured process will increase the chances that your decisions will add to your wealth over the long term.
